Join the Jewcer crowdfunding community and help our center continue to function and grow. There are many more at-risk youth in Jerusalem that can benefit from the immense sense of empowerment and pride that our students take with them into their communities and to Israel society at large. Be generous!

The Malkat Shva Ethiopian Youth Project needs funding to pay our staff, prepare costumes, purchase traditional musical instruments, and present performances in professional venues. We also need funds to enable us to expand our outreach in the community. We know that our existing program, although small, can be equally successful on a much larger scale. It is our hope to expand our vision by expanding our teen population in the coming year.

As you will read in the quotes from the kids, this program is their second home, and because they feel that it is for their community alone, they feel safe to create, communicate and grow.
